After months of tinkering with the course-making plug-in, Zippy Courses, the Zip Your Course support group was begging for video tech training to put their courses together.
Sure, the plug-in is great. Derek Halpern and his Social Triggers team have done a superb job of developing this software. It’s easy to use, makes logical sense in the set up and delivery, but there is always a learning curve with anything new. This program is no exception.
The cry for help sparked the idea to create a course-maker’s course showing the exact steps to take, teaching strategies for taking clients through an e-learning experience, offering suggestions on how to best sell courses, customize webpages, and to handle security and backups.
I, alone, was not prepared to handle delivering the course in its entirety at the time of need, so collaboration was the only way. That’s when the Zip Squad was born.
Eight tech-savvy ladies have come together to help support the efforts of course-makers. It has been one of the most rewarding journeys to create this mastermind and develop friendships that surely will last a lifetime.
