Focus on the Positive

I like this call out, “Name something you like about me,” because it asks for a positive response.

focus on the positive

It can be a great exercise – ask people to name something they like about you. Then you can identify your strengths.

When we focus on what others think of us from a negative perspective, it takes away from our own self confidence. I’m done listening to negative ninnies who focus on the bad in this world. I’ve even stopped reading a lot of news lately, and if you know me, you know I’m a total news junkie – especially global news.

I rarely know what’s going on next door, but that’s starting to change as I accept myself with all my flaws and move into a space where it’s okay to be me. I stumble through this life, learning and growing into a more positive person and accepting others as they are in the process. I focus on the positive!

If you feel like you’re stumbling along and haven’t quite found your purpose yet. Check out my . . .
